May 2012 Dear Friend,    There is an old saying that goes “bad news travels in threes.” I guess that the adage developed through observations that difficulties and challenges tend to cluster together rather than occur in isolation. I try not to give energy to old sayings, yet it’s hard to ignore a synchronicity of events. In the past months, I’ve noticed that a number of people in our community have been experiencing health issues, or opportunities, depending on your point of view. I include myself in the group, because I recently had arthroscopic knee surgery and have been limping toward recovery since.   Healing and wellness are powerful and important spiritual ideas.
